Other events that were held at the amphitheater include 60s Summer Spectacular, All That! Music and More Festival, Anger Management Tour, Farm AID, H.O.R.D.E. REO Speedwagon and Styx performed here on June 9, 2000, Sting during symphony City Tour on June 23, 2010, along with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Kings of Leon on July 23, 2010. Louis has hosted a variety of different genres of musical events and concerts. Currently, it is owned and operated by Live Nation.
The venue became the site of Riverport Riot on July 2, 1991, during the Guns N' Roses Concert soon after opening. The construction cost for the amphitheater was estimated to be $12 million. The amphitheater opened to the general public on June 14, 1991, with a performance by Steve Winwood.
The venue has a seating capacity of around 20,000. It was previously known as Riverport Amphitheatre. Louis is an open-air concert venue located at 14141 Riverport Drive, Maryland Heights, Missouri.
