In 2021 she had a solo show, The Color of Distance at The South Hill Gallery in Ithaca., NY. Jessica Warner received a BFA magna cum laude from SUNY Purchase with a concentration in painting and drawing, also spending a summer studying in Italy. She works with the same objects over time, rearranging them into new contexts, allowing patterns in meanings to emerge and evolve through the process of making. Her work is grounded in the experience of close observation but through the process, moves toward abstraction, imagination and suggestion.
